Students across Qatar have returned to classrooms as the Ministry of Education and Higher Education reinstated face-to-face learning in all educational institutions. The decision applies to government and private schools, nurseries, kindergartens, and other learning centres, in line with the official academic calendar.
With online learning phased out, students will now attend classes on campus. The ministry confirmed that in-person teaching has resumed in government schools, while alternative assessment methods will remain in place for midterm exams during the second semester.
Digital applications will continue to support classroom learning and help evaluate academic performance. Private schools will follow their approved academic plans, with centralised examinations conducted as per their respective education boards.
Authorities stated that Qatar’s education system is fully prepared to adapt to any changes, with infrastructure in place to support both physical and remote learning if required. The ministry emphasised that student and staff safety remains a priority, and the situation will be closely monitored, with updates shared through official channels.
