The committee includes representatives from the ministries of Commerce, Interior, the Insurance Regulatory Unit, and the Justice Ministry&#8217;s Experts Department.<\/p><p>The proposed reforms aim to standardize rental contracts, classify vehicle categories and pricing, abolish fixed per-kilometer charges in favor of value-based calculations, and ban unjustified fees unless pre-approved. Other key proposals include mandatory notifications before contract expiry, providing accident histories and repair invoices, and offering a replacement vehicle at no extra cost during breakdowns.
