The Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Promita Tripathi, lauded the dedication and sincerity of the Indian community in Kuwait while inaugurating SMCA Kuwait\u2019s 30th mega event, Glow Gala 2026. Speaking at the public gathering, she appreciated the organisation\u2019s contributions to social and cultural activities and released this year\u2019s family directory, receiving it from Editor Jona George and Media Committee Convener Shaju Devassya.<\/p>
The event was presided over by SMCA Kuwait President Antony Manoj, with General Secretary Bobin George delivering the welcome address. Fr. Sojan Paul of St. Daniel Comboni Parish, Abbasiya, commended SMCA\u2019s efforts both in Kuwait and back home. Representatives from various community organisations and wings, including SMYM, the Women\u2019s Wing, and Baladeepthi, also extended their greetings and appreciation.<\/p>
Treasurer Sony Mathew delivered the vote of thanks, while Baladeepthi representative Christa Maria served as the main presenter. The evening concluded with a lively musical performance by renowned composer Stephen Devassy and his band.<\/p>
