Dubai\/Kuwait City: Authorities have successfully extinguished a fire on the Kuwaiti crude oil tanker \u201cAl Salmi\u201d after it was targeted in a drone attack while anchored in Dubai waters.<\/p>
According to a statement from the Dubai Government Media Office, the incident was handled in line with established emergency procedures, with marine firefighting teams bringing the blaze under control.<\/p>
All 24 crew members on board were confirmed safe, with no injuries reported.<\/p>
Earlier, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) had stated that the attack occurred around 12:10 am on Monday while the tanker was anchored at a port area in Dubai.<\/p>
