The country also retained its position as the highest-ranked Arab and Asian country in the index.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oman\u2019s strong performance was attributed to its safety standards, improved purchasing power, relatively affordable property prices compared with incomes, low pollution levels and shorter travel times. Numbeo\u2019s index considers several aspects of daily life, including safety, healthcare, cost of living, climate and transportation.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The country\u2019s progress has also been linked to sustainable urban planning, modern development projects and an investment-friendly environment.
