Authorities are using the\u00a0Ervebo vaccine, with priority also being given to people who have been in contact with Ebola patients.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kamba said the strategy is intended to provide early protection to those at greatest risk while helping slow further transmission.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outbreak Spreads Across Six Provinces<\/h3><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The outbreak has so far affected\u00a0<strong>six provinces<\/strong>: Ituri, North Kivu, South Kivu, Tshopo, Haut-Uele and Bas-Uele.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Government figures showed that as of Tuesday, the country had recorded\u00a05,713 confirmed Ebola cases, including\u00a02,744 deaths.
