In its latest bulletin issued on Monday, October 19, the NCM forecast fair to partly cloudy skies, with convective clouds expected to develop over eastern and southern areas during the afternoon, potentially bringing rainfall. The weather pattern is being influenced by an extension of a surface low-pressure system accompanied by an upper-air low-pressure system.<\/p>
Temperatures are expected to range between 34\u00b0C and 39\u00b0C along the coast and on the islands, while mountainous areas could record between 28\u00b0C and 33\u00b0C. Winds will generally be light to moderate but may strengthen around cloud formations, raising dust and reducing visibility in exposed areas. Humidity is expected to increase overnight and into Tuesday morning, with fog or mist possible in some coastal locations.<\/p>
The NCM expects the possibility of rainfall to continue on Tuesday and Wednesday as convective clouds develop over eastern areas and extend towards parts of the interior and west. Winds could reach 50 km\/h at times on both days, potentially causing blowing dust and reduced visibility.<\/p>
On Thursday, partly cloudy conditions are forecast to continue, with afternoon cloud development over eastern and western areas bringing the possibility of further showers. Winds could reach 40 km\/h and may raise dust.<\/p>
By Friday, conditions are expected to be generally fair to partly cloudy, although clouds may develop over eastern and western areas at times. Humidity will rise overnight and into Saturday morning, creating a chance of fog or mist over some western coastal areas. Winds could reach 35 km\/h.<\/p>
