The case followed a formal complaint filed by the officer, who was attacked while performing duties as a public employee.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both suspects, who are Kuwaiti nationals, face allegations of assaulting a government employee in the course of official duties.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kuwaiti law imposes penalties on individuals who assault or forcibly resist public employees while they are performing their responsibilities.
