Traffic safety is a central focus of the plan, with the Traffic Directorate and Security Patrols implementing heightened monitoring and control measures. Special attention will be given to managing congestion around popular celebration sites to ensure smooth mobility throughout the night.

Authorities have also issued clear warnings against disruptive behaviors such as using party sprays, reckless driving, and excessive noise, which can endanger public safety and disrupt celebrations. The police emphasize that such actions will be dealt with firmly to preserve a secure and family-friendly atmosphere. The overall goal is to create an environment where everyone can welcome the new year safely and responsibly.

The initiative reflects Abu Dhabi’s commitment to balancing festive celebration with civic responsibility and security preparedness. By promoting awareness and compliance, Abu Dhabi Police aim to showcase the emirate’s ability to host large-scale events safely, reinforcing its reputation as a well-organized and welcoming global destination.
