Kuwait Directs Health Employees Abroad to Report Back to Work

Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has issued a strict directive requiring all employees currently abroad to return and resume work immediately, in response to the ongoing situation in the country.

The move aims to ensure that healthcare services continue without disruption. The ministry has released a circular instructing all staff on leave or outside Kuwait to report back as soon as possible.

Returning employees must submit official documentation confirming their resumption of duties or proof of return from leave. These documents must be verified by their department heads and senior officials, along with any additional required paperwork.

Employees on annual leave are also required to provide a copy of their leave application along with entry and exit records obtained through the Sahel app under the Ministry of Interior.

The ministry stated that this step is necessary to strengthen healthcare operations and ensure adequate staffing levels during the current circumstances.
