Kuwait Municipality has released detailed guidelines on displaying the national flag during national holidays to preserve its dignity and symbolism. Officials urged residents and institutions to strictly follow the rules when raising and handling the flag.
According to the guidelines, the black section must be placed next to the flagpole, with green at the top, white in the middle and red at the bottom. The flag should be raised quickly and lowered slowly, and it must always be clean and undamaged.
Authorities warned against violations such as displaying the flag upside down, torn or marked with writing or images. The flag must not touch the ground or be used for advertising or commercial purposes. Continuous display on private buildings is not allowed except during official national celebrations.
Officials called on the public to respect the national symbol and follow the regulations to uphold national values.
