Drone Attack Triggers Fire at Kuwait’s Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery

Kuwait City: A drone attack triggered fires at Kuwait’s key oil facility, the Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, early Friday, according to state media reports.

The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation confirmed that the refinery was targeted by drones, leading to fires in some of its operating units.

Authorities stated that no injuries were reported, and emergency teams responded promptly to contain the situation.

The Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery is one of Kuwait’s most important oil processing facilities and plays a major role in the country’s energy exports.

The incident has raised fresh concerns over the safety and security of critical energy infrastructure in the region.
