Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has approved revised schedules for government and private schools, as well as ministry offices, during Ramadan. Each class period will last 30–35 minutes, with seven periods per day and two breaks of 15 minutes each.
Kindergarten classes will run roughly between 9:40 am and 1:10 pm, primary schools from 9:25 am to 1:45 pm, middle schools from 9:20 am to 2:00 pm and secondary schools from 9:30 am to 2:10 pm. Teachers and school staff will be given a 30-minute flexible reporting window in the morning.
Ministry and education district office employees will work four and a half hours daily. Morning-shift staff can arrive between 8:30 am and 10:30 am and complete their duty from the time of arrival, while evening shifts will begin at 6:45 pm. The changes are aimed at easing schedules for students and staff during the holy month.
