Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has announced enhanced security and traffic arrangements across the country for the holy month of Ramadan. Officials said comprehensive plans have been finalised to ensure public safety and smooth traffic flow during peak periods.
Additional security personnel will be deployed around mosques, markets, shopping malls and other crowded areas. Traffic patrols will also be increased on main and internal roads, with special focus on busy times before iftar and after Taraweeh prayers.
Authorities warned that strict action will be taken against traffic violations and reckless driving. Awareness campaigns will also be conducted to promote safe behaviour and compliance with laws, while special squads will be on standby to quickly address congestion and emergencies during Ramadan.
