Kuwait City: Kuwait has successfully restored four out of seven major electricity transmission lines that were damaged following recent attacks.
The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy confirmed that the lines, which were affected by missile debris, have been repaired and brought back into operation after intensive maintenance work carried out under emergency conditions.
Ministry spokesperson Engineer Fatima Hayat stated that the restoration followed thorough technical inspections conducted in line with advanced safety standards.
She added that the repair work is progressing efficiently under an approved emergency plan, with continuous field monitoring and technical checks to ensure the stability and reliability of the national power grid.
Efforts are ongoing to restore the remaining three damaged lines, with technical teams working around the clock. The ministry assured that the remaining repairs will be completed soon without compromising on quality or safety.
