The world-renowned Dubai Fountain is preparing for its grand reopening on October 1st, ending a five-month closure for essential renovations. As the heart of Downtown Dubai, the return of the world's largest choreographed fountain system is a highly anticipated event, with both residents and international tourists planning visits specifically to witness its spectacular displays of water, music, and light.

The first phase of the restoration project, which was finished ahead of schedule, involved critical maintenance work including re-tiling, water insulation, and repainting to ensure the fountain's longevity, safety, and iconic appearance. Emaar, the developer, has also announced a second phase of enhancements scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026. This next stage will introduce new technological features designed to further elevate the visitor experience with innovative and awe-inspiring performances.

Upon reopening, the fountain will resume its regular schedule. Daily afternoon shows will be held at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm (2:00 pm and 2:30 pm on Fridays), while evening performances will run every 30 minutes from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Emaar's founder, Mohamed Alabbar, stated that the fountain's return symbolizes Dubai's vibrant spirit and its commitment to creating unforgettable, world-class experiences that bring people together. The reopening reinforces Dubai's position as a leading global destination for tourism and innovation.
