Kuwait conducts 638 seizures in nationwide security campaigns across all governorates

Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has conducted comprehensive security campaigns across all governorates, resulting in 638 seizures during operations supervised by Major General Hamad Al-Munifi, Head of the Security Directorates Affairs Sector. The September 26 security sweep led to the arrest of 46 individuals wanted for criminal, civil, and absconding cases, along with 26 residency law violators, 19 individuals without identification, and 16 drug-related cases.

The operations also addressed 13 cases involving intoxicants and alcohol, 9 irregular workers, 8 judicially-wanted vehicles, 17 expired residency cases, 2 gambling incidents, and 2 individuals in intoxicated states. Additional enforcement actions included admitting one person to a psychiatric hospital, arresting a juvenile for unlicensed driving, detaining a street vendor, impounding one vehicle, and issuing 481 traffic violations.

The ministry has reaffirmed its commitment to continuing intensive security campaigns throughout all governorates, emphasizing that necessary legal measures will be taken against all law violators to maintain national security and public safety.
