Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has intensified market inspections ahead of Ramadan to ensure the availability and fair pricing of essential goods. The comprehensive monitoring plan focuses on cooperative societies, central markets, and shops selling high-demand items such as dates, meat, poultry, flour, and spices.
Director Faisal Al-Ansari stated that the inspections aim to enforce compliance with regulations and prevent consumer harm. The ministry has issued formal warnings to market managers and affirmed its readiness to take immediate legal action against violators. These oversight tours will continue to ensure market stability and consumer protection throughout the holy month.
