The Meteorology Department has warned of strong, dust-raising winds beginning early Tuesday and continuing into Wednesday morning. Southeasterly winds are expected to become active, shifting to northwesterly with speeds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour.
The conditions will likely reduce visibility in some areas and generate sea waves over 6 feet. There is also a chance of scattered rain. An air warning is in effect for 27 hours starting at 5:00 AM Tuesday.
