Kuwait Municipality Launches Month-Long Construction Inspection Campaigns

Kuwait Municipality has begun a series of month-long field inspection campaigns across all six governorates to monitor compliance with building regulations. The first inspections in the Al-Jahra Governorate resulted in two violations being issued for private housing in the Al-Mutlaa area.

Yousef Al-Badhali, Director of the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department, stated that national engineering teams are supervising the visits to ensure adherence to construction rules. The campaigns involve prior monitoring, issuing violation notices, and following up to ensure corrective actions are taken. Further scheduled visits in all governorates are planned over the coming weeks, with officials urging strict compliance with municipal laws.
