The Public Authority for Manpower has introduced a “Multiple-Trip Departure Permit” service and a “Pre-Approval of Departure Permit” service to streamline procedures for employers and expatriate workers. The new multiple-trip permit allows workers to apply for departures covering several trips within a specified period, moving beyond the previous single-trip system.
The authority has also launched a pre-approval option, enabling employers to grant automatic approval for workers’ exit requests in advance, removing the need for case-by-case authorization. Both services are accessible through the “Easy Business” portal and app and are part of Kuwait’s ongoing digital transformation of government services.
