Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced a symbolic initiative to honour mothers by replacing the term “housewife” with “Generations Shaper.”
The directive was issued to the Community Development Authority on the occasion of Mother’s Day, highlighting the vital role mothers play in building families and shaping society.
In a statement, Sheikh Hamdan described mothers as the first school for their children, where values such as responsibility, belonging, and character are formed. He emphasized that these qualities contribute to building strong and stable nations.
Expressing his appreciation, he said that mothers are the foundation of everything positive in society and extended warm wishes to all mothers on Mother’s Day.
