Chery has announced plans to introduce four new and refreshed models over the next 12 months as part of its strategy to accelerate growth in the UK. Chery International continues to record rapid sales expansion in the UK market under its portfolio of brands, including Jaecoo, Omoda, and Lepas, while also working to strengthen sales under the Chery marque itself.
Electrification remains central to Chery’s product strategy, with the company preparing to launch its first fully electric vehicle alongside upgrades to its Chery Super Hybrid powertrain technology. Since its market debut in August 2025, Chery has recorded more than 29,000 vehicle registrations in the UK.
The introduction of Chery’s first EV will be accompanied by upgrades to its Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology, available across the Tiggo 4, 7, 8 and 9 ranges. The updated system will feature larger battery packs, enabling greater electric-only range while lowering fuel consumption and emissions. Vehicles equipped with the CSH powertrain currently account for approximately 75 percent of Chery’s UK registrations.
Chery said introducing new models in fresh segments will be key to sustaining its momentum in the UK market. The company’s new UK R&D Center of Excellence at the UTAC Millbrook proving ground in Bedfordshire is expected to play a central role, focusing on customer-driven product development. Chery added that the engineering team now being established at the site will deepen its understanding of the UK market, accelerate product improvements, and support the development of new features and functions.
