Kuwait Municipality has launched a field campaign to raise awareness about recent amendments to investment housing construction rules. During a tour in Al-Farwaniyah Governorate, officials outlined key changes, including permitting an entire floor to be designated as a garden for residents and allowing studio apartments up to 45 square meters.
Other amendments enable the use of basements, ground floors, and first floors for parking, and provide additional building space where commercial shops are absent. The awareness drive, conducted by national personnel, will extend to all governorates to ensure compliance with updated urban planning standards.
