Kuwait Grand Mosque to Remain Closed for Eid and Friday Prayers

Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced that worshippers will not be allowed to gather at the Kuwait Grand Mosque for Eid al Fitr or Friday (Jumu’ah) prayers this year.

The decision was confirmed in an official statement issued on Wednesday, citing the current security situation in the country.

Authorities said the measure has been taken as a precaution to ensure public safety and maintain security during this period.

Worshippers have been advised to follow official instructions and attend prayers only at designated mosques in accordance with the guidelines issued by authorities in Kuwait.
