The Ministry of Health has issued a ministerial decree approving regulations to standardize the general appearance, official attire, and professional dress across both public and private healthcare sectors. The rules aim to balance professional discipline, safety and infection control, public decency, and the diverse roles within healthcare facilities.
The regulations require staff to wear official identification, maintain a professional appearance, and adhere to a standardized color scheme for clinical attire to help identify specializations. Inappropriate or revealing clothing is prohibited. Supervisors are tasked with monitoring compliance and reporting violations, with non-adherence treated as a disciplinary offense. The framework is intended to project a unified, professional image and uphold safety standards in healthcare environments.
