Kuwait and Egypt Discuss Status of ‘Illegal Residents’

Kuwait’s Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents met with Egyptian officials on Thursday to discuss issues related to bedouns, including those with connections to Egypt. The talks aimed to strengthen coordination between the two countries on matters concerning this category of residents.

Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammed Abu Al-Wafa was briefed on Kuwait’s institutional approach to addressing the status of illegal residents and praised the country’s efforts. The meeting was attended by senior consular and agency officials, reflecting ongoing bilateral engagement on the issue.
