Festivities for Kuwait’s 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day began with an impressive aerial display by the Kuwait Air Force. The show took place near the iconic Kuwait Towers, drawing large crowds of citizens and expatriates along Arabian Gulf Street and nearby waterfront parks. Despite the ongoing Ramadan period, many families gathered to enjoy the celebration.
The air show featured Apache and Caracal helicopters, C-130 Hercules transport aircraft and Boeing C-17 Globemaster planes, along with advanced fighter jets such as the F/A-18 Hornet and Eurofighter Typhoon. The aircraft performed colourful formations and manoeuvres in the sky, thrilling spectators and showcasing the strength and coordination of the air force.
In addition to the aerial display, the Kuwaiti Navy and Coast Guard staged coordinated demonstrations along the seafront. The event highlighted national pride and unity, marking a vibrant start to this year’s National Day celebrations.
