Kuwait Reports U.S. Military Aircraft Incident During Iranian Strikes

Several U.S. military aircraft crashed in Kuwait early Monday as tensions across the Middle East intensified following ongoing Iranian retaliatory strikes, according to Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence. All crew members survived the incidents and were transported to hospital, where they were reported to be in stable condition.

The ministry stated that emergency teams responded immediately and coordinated closely with U.S. forces to secure the crash sites and evacuate personnel. Officials did not disclose how many aircraft were involved or the circumstances that led to the crashes.

In a separate development, smoke was seen rising near the U.S. Embassy compound in Kuwait City. Emergency vehicles were deployed to the area. There was no immediate official comment from the U.S. Embassy or the U.S. State Department regarding the situation.

Earlier in the day, Kuwaiti authorities confirmed that air defence systems intercepted hostile drones for the third consecutive day as Iranian strikes targeted locations across Gulf states. The majority of drones were neutralised over residential areas including Rumaithiya and Salwa, with no reported injuries, according to the director-general of civil defence.

However, two workers sustained minor injuries after debris fell at the Mina Al Ahmadi refinery, Kuwait National Petroleum Company confirmed. The workers received medical attention and were reported to be in stable condition.

Iranian state media, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, claimed that Iranian forces struck a U.S. aircraft that later crashed in Kuwait. Online footage verified by international media showed a military aircraft descending rapidly in the Al Jahra area, with one individual seen parachuting to safety.

The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait issued a security alert warning American citizens of a continuing threat from missile and drone attacks. Citizens were advised to shelter indoors, remain on lower floors away from windows and avoid travel to the embassy compound.

Explosions were also reported in Dubai and Doha, as regional tensions continued to escalate following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran over the weekend. Tehran has warned that U.S. military bases in the region would be considered potential targets.

The situation remains fluid as Gulf nations heighten air defence readiness and monitor further developments.
