Several leading banks in Kuwait have announced the temporary closure of their headquarters as a precautionary measure in response to the current security situation in the country.
National Bank of Kuwait said its headquarters will remain closed starting Sunday, March 8, until further notice. The bank advised customers to follow updates through its official communication channels.
Boubyan Bank also confirmed that its main headquarters and related branches will be temporarily closed on Sunday. The bank stated that the decision was taken to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
Similarly, Kuwait Finance House announced that its Main Building 1, Main Building 2 and related departments located at Baitak Tower will remain closed on March 8.
Despite the temporary closure of headquarters, banks said customers will continue to have access to services through electronic banking platforms and other alternative channels.
Bank officials also expressed hopes for the continued safety and stability of Kuwait, its leadership and its people during the current situation.
