Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has reassured residents that the country’s drinking water is safe and of high quality.
Officials said the water produced in Kuwait is purified according to strict standards set by the World Health Organization. Authorities also confirmed that the water undergoes continuous testing and monitoring before being supplied to consumers.
The ministry emphasised that there is no need for the public to purchase or store bottled water unnecessarily, as adequate supplies of clean and safe drinking water are available across the country.
Advanced monitoring and quality control systems are used to maintain high standards in water treatment and distribution, officials added.
Authorities warned that panic buying and excessive storage of bottled water could create artificial shortages in the market. They urged residents to remain calm and purchase only what they need, assuring that sufficient drinking water supplies are available for everyone in Kuwait.
