Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has urged citizens and residents to exercise caution as unstable weather conditions are expected across the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain unstable from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursday, before gradually improving.
Forecasts indicate moderate to heavy rainfall, with the possibility of thunderstorms at times. Strong southerly winds reaching speeds of 60 to 70 km/h are also expected, which may reduce visibility and cause high waves along coastal areas.
Authorities have advised people to avoid going outdoors unless necessary, especially during heavy rainfall, and to stay away from waterlogged areas.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully by reducing speed, maintaining safe distances, and ensuring their vehicles are in good condition.
In case of emergencies, the public can contact 112 or Civil Defense Operations at 1804000. Residents are also advised to follow official channels for the latest updates.
