Kuwait National Guard Downs Two Drones, Tightens Security

Kuwait City: The Kuwait National Guard has shot down two drones as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen national security, official spokesperson Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel confirmed.

In a statement issued on Thursday, he said the drones were intercepted within areas under the National Guard’s security responsibility.

He explained that the move is part of continuous measures to protect key facilities and enhance the country’s overall security.

The public has been urged to strictly follow all safety and security instructions issued by relevant authorities.

He added that the National Guard, in coordination with the military, police, and the General Fire Force, remains fully prepared to respond to any potential threats and ensure the country’s safety and stability.
