Kuwait’s Interior Ministry has arrested a man and a woman in connection with an attempted robbery and stabbing in Hawally. The arrest followed a complaint from a Syrian expatriate who reported being assaulted and threatened by two individuals last Saturday evening. The victim stated that the woman stole a bag containing 860 Kuwaiti dinars, and when he intervened, her male accomplice stabbed him in the shoulder before both fled.
Through scene examination and surveillance footage, the Hawally Investigations Department identified and located the suspects. During interrogation, the man confessed to stabbing the victim during a dispute, while the woman admitted to attempting to steal the bag. Both suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal proceedings.
