TRAFFIC INSPECTION, 30,000 VIOLATIONS DETECTED IN KUWAIT IN ONE WEEK

Kuwait City: Authorities conducted strict traffic checks in all six governorates of the country. 30,131 violations were found in the inspections conducted last week. 39 vehicles were shifted to detention garage. Meanwhile, 60 minors were arrested for driving without a driving license. Additionally, 60 expatriates were referred for deportation proceedings following violations.


Last week, 1,171 traffic accidents were reported. 240 people had a serious car accident. 43 people have been taken into custody for reckless driving. Meanwhile, six people have been arrested in the drug case. They were referred to the Drug Control General Administration. Two people on the wanted list were arrested. Officials also informed that 55 people who were reported to have absconded have been arrested. 113 people who did not have documents were arrested.
