Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall on March 20, according to astronomer and historian Adel Al-Saadoun.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he noted that there is a high probability of sighting the crescent moon on March 19. If confirmed, Ramadan would conclude after 29 days, with Eid celebrations beginning the following day.
However, the official announcement will depend on the decision of the relevant moon-sighting authorities.
