Several popular entertainment destinations in Dubai have temporarily suspended operations for the weekend as precautionary safety measures are implemented.
Major leisure attractions including Global Village Dubai, Ain Dubai and Dubai Parks and Resorts confirmed that they will remain closed on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8.
Organisers said the temporary suspension follows official guidance aimed at ensuring the safety of visitors and employees while authorities continue monitoring regional developments.
Visitors who already hold tickets or have made bookings are advised to check official websites and communication channels for updates regarding reopening dates, ticket validity and revised visitor schedules.
Authorities have also urged residents and tourists to follow all public safety advisories issued during this period. Officials warned against stopping vehicles or leaving homes to film incidents, noting that such actions could create unnecessary risks and endanger public safety.
Operators of the attractions said normal operations will resume once authorities determine that conditions are safe. Until then, the public has been encouraged to rely only on verified information from official sources.
