The ministry also announced revised working schedules for administrative and teaching staff. Kindergarten staff duties will end on June 8, while primary and middle school staff will continue until June 14, except for employees assigned to secondary examination duties.
For secondary school students, final examinations for grades 10 and 11 will be conducted from June 3 to June 15. Grade 12 examinations are scheduled from June 17 until June 29.
The ministry stated that administrative and educational staff working in secondary schools will complete duties on July 5, excluding those assigned to second round examination responsibilities.
The examination schedules for grades 10, 11 and 12 in public and religious education schools were approved by Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Hamad Al Hamad.
Authorities also confirmed additional support measures for students with learning difficulties, including an extra 30 minutes for all examination subjects. Another 15 minutes will be added to exam durations for all students to allow time for reading instructions and verifying question papers.
The ministry further issued a circular regarding suspended lessons in secondary stage final examinations. Officials clarified that these lessons are suspended only for examination purposes and have not been removed from the curriculum itself.
According to the ministry, the adjustments were introduced following changes in the educational system and the adoption of distance learning measures during the academic year.
Officials said the revised plans aim to maintain a balanced educational environment while focusing on essential skills and academic knowledge within the remaining academic period.
