Kuwait to Suspend Services for Biometric Non-Compliance by Year-End

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has issued a firm reminder to residents and citizens to complete the mandatory biometric fingerprinting process before the end of December. The ministry highlighted that failure to comply could lead to the suspension of essential governmental and banking services, causing significant delays or disruptions in transactions.

Appointments for the biometric process can be booked through the “Meta” platform or the “Sahel” application, ensuring a streamlined approach to completing the necessary procedures. Individuals are urged to adhere to their scheduled appointment dates to avoid inconveniences.

The biometric fingerprinting system is part of Kuwait’s broader strategy to enhance security and streamline the processing of transactions across sectors. Compliance ensures seamless access to vital services and reinforces the country’s commitment to modernizing its administrative systems.

The Ministry has emphasized the importance of completing the process promptly, urging individuals to act before the deadline to avoid penalties or service interruptions.
