Ras Al Khaimah Police Launch Over 115 Digital Safety Campaigns Under “Digital Quality of Life” Initiative

Ras Al Khaimah Police have launched more than 115 integrated digital awareness campaigns since 2023 as part of their “Digital Quality of Life” initiative. The campaigns are designed to enhance safety in cyberspace by promoting best practices, encouraging responsible online behavior, and reducing the risks of cybercrime. Through targeted messaging, authorities aim to build a secure and positive digital environment for all internet users in the emirate.

Brigadier Dr. Tariq Mohammed bin Saif, Director General of Police Operations, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the UAE’s Centennial 2071 goals and the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to strengthen public security and confidence. He stated that the campaigns focus on educating the community about digital risks and equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves amid rapid technological change.

Beyond risk awareness, the police are actively promoting the responsible use of digital platforms by encouraging positive, reliable content and discouraging exposure to harmful material that incites violence or hatred. This approach seeks to reinforce digital citizenship, support healthy virtual communities, and foster a culture of coexistence and respect online.

The sustained effort reflects Ras Al Khaimah’s proactive strategy to combat cyber threats through prevention and education. By engaging residents across multiple digital channels, authorities hope to build long-term resilience against online fraud, harassment, and misinformation, ensuring that the digital space remains safe and constructive for everyone.
