Kuwait has liberalized its loan policies for expatriates, introducing more generous terms for personal and housing loans. The maximum loan amounts have been raised, with personal loans now available up to 25,000 Kuwaiti Dinars and housing loans up to 70,000 Kuwaiti Dinars, based on the applicant’s salary.
Expatriates with a minimum salary of 600 Kuwaiti Dinars are now eligible to apply. Those earning over 3,000 Dinars can access housing loans of up to 70,000 Dinars. A key condition is that the monthly repayment installment must not exceed 40% of the borrower’s salary.
