Kuwait is set to experience a significant cold wave over the next five days due to a high-pressure system bringing a very cold and dry air mass. Acting Director of the Meteorological Department, Dharar Al-Ali, stated that temperatures are expected to drop notably, possibly falling below 3°C, with cold to very cold conditions prevailing, especially at night.
The weather will be accompanied by light to moderate northwesterly winds, which may become active and cause dust at times, reducing visibility and raising sea waves. Residents are advised to prepare for the chilly conditions and stay updated on official forecasts.
