Kuwait is experiencing a shift in weather conditions, with strong winds expected to reduce visibility and temperatures set to drop across the country. The Meteorological Department stated that while rainfall is tapering off after noon on Sunday, active northwesterly winds—sometimes exceeding 60 km/h—will raise dust, especially in open areas, and cause sea waves to exceed six feet.
The change follows a weekend of scattered, sometimes thundery rainfall, with accumulations reaching 35 mm in northern regions. A cold air mass moving in will lower temperatures, with highs on Sunday between 14–17°C and lows between 6–9°C. Chances of rain are predicted to return by mid-week.
