The UAE is expected to experience dense fog across several regions over the next five days, prompting safety advisories from the National Centre of Meteorology. Authorities said visibility may drop during early morning and late-night hours from Saturday through Wednesday, especially in coastal and inland areas where humidity levels are set to rise.
While the overall weather will remain mostly clear with occasional clouds, temperatures may dip slightly on Sunday before rising again by Tuesday. Winds of up to 35 km/h are also expected. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will generally remain calm, though slight turbulence is possible on Sunday and Wednesday.
Drivers have been urged to exercise extreme caution during low-visibility hours, reduce speed and strictly follow traffic rules. Police advised motorists to plan journeys carefully and remain alert as fog could significantly affect road conditions during early mornings and late nights.
