Dubai Denies Claims of IRGC Attack on Oracle Data Centre

Dubai: Dubai authorities have denied circulating reports claiming that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted a data centre belonging to Oracle in the emirate.

In a statement shared on social media, the Dubai Government Media Office described the claims as “fake news” with no factual basis.

Officials emphasised the importance of relying only on credible and official sources, especially during periods of heightened regional tension.

Authorities also reiterated warnings against spreading misinformation, noting that false reports can create unnecessary panic and confusion.

While previous statements attributed to Iranian sources have suggested potential threats against major US technology companies, Dubai officials confirmed that no such incident has occurred in the emirate.
