Dubai: The UAE Ministry of Defence announced that its air defence systems successfully intercepted multiple aerial threats on April 3, 2026, including 18 ballistic missiles, 4 cruise missiles, and 47 drones originating from Iran.
Since the escalation of attacks began, UAE forces have engaged a total of 475 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles, and 2,085 drones.
Authorities confirmed that the attacks have resulted in casualties. Two members of the UAE Armed Forces were killed while on duty, along with a Moroccan civilian working under a military contract. Additionally, nine civilians of various nationalities were also killed.
A total of 203 people have been injured, with cases ranging from minor to severe, involving individuals from multiple nationalities.
The Ministry of Defence stated that it remains on high alert and fully prepared to respond to any threats, emphasising its commitment to safeguarding national security, sovereignty, and stability.
