Kuwait Resumes Full Surgical Operations from Sunday

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 29: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has announced that surgical operations across all hospitals will return to full capacity starting next Sunday, alongside the resumption of regular employee leave.

Official spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said the decision reflects the stability of health performance indicators and the system’s readiness, following detailed technical assessments. He noted that hospitals will resume normal surgical schedules in line with approved plans, while maintaining strict medical standards to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Al-Sanad added that the ministry continues to closely monitor operational indicators to respond to any developments and maintain system readiness. He also praised healthcare workers for their dedication and efforts during the past period, highlighting their role in sustaining Kuwait’s healthcare services.
