Iran Vows Retaliation Against US Strikes, Warns American Forces

Tehran: Abbas Araghchi has vowed that Iran will respond to recent US military actions, warning that Tehran’s armed forces will not leave any attack or threat unanswered.

In a statement posted on social media, Araghchi accused the United States of testing Iran’s resolve despite what he described as setbacks suffered by Washington and its allies during the ongoing regional conflict. He also urged American forces to leave the region, saying their continued presence threatened stability.

The Iranian foreign minister stated that Iran’s military was prepared to respond decisively to any future attacks, while reiterating Tehran’s long-standing opposition to foreign military deployments in the Gulf region.

His remarks come amid heightened tensions following recent US strikes on Iranian military and surveillance sites, including operations linked to maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz.

The conflict, which escalated earlier this year, has seen repeated exchanges involving missile strikes, drone attacks and military operations by both sides. Despite ceasefire efforts, tensions remain high and diplomatic progress has been limited.

Iran continues to link regional stability to the withdrawal of foreign forces, while the United States maintains that its military actions are aimed at protecting international shipping routes and regional security.

With no immediate Iranian response reported following the latest US operations, international observers remain concerned about the possibility of further escalation across the Gulf region.
