Abu Dhabi: Q Mobility has announced free public parking and a temporary suspension of Darb toll charges during the Hijri New Year holiday on Monday, June 15.
According to the announcement, Darb toll fees at the Sas Al Nakhl, Al Maqta, Rabdan and Al Saadiyat gates will be suspended throughout the holiday. Regular toll charges will resume on Tuesday, June 16. However, toll gates at Al Qurm Toll Gate and Ghantout Toll Gate will continue operating normally, with motorists charged AED4 per crossing.
Q Mobility also confirmed that standard public parking spaces across Abu Dhabi will be free of charge on Monday. The exemption does not apply to multi-storey public parking buildings, where normal fees will continue throughout the holiday period.
Regular parking tariffs and operating schedules will resume on Tuesday, June 16. The initiative aims to support smoother traffic flow and make travel more convenient for residents and visitors during the holiday.
In addition, Customer Happiness Centres operated by Q Mobility in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will remain closed on Monday and will reopen on Tuesday, June 16, resuming normal business hours.
