Kuwait Fire Force Closes 25 Violating Establishments in Shuwaikh

Kuwait’s General Fire Force (KFF) administratively closed 25 establishments in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area on Tuesday, October 13, after inspectors identified regulatory violations during a safety inspection campaign.

The campaign also resulted in 45 notices and 10 warnings being issued to other establishments that failed to meet fire safety requirements. The inspections were aimed at identifying violations and ensuring businesses comply with the safety standards prescribed by the authorities.

The campaign was supervised by Brigadier General Omar Abdul Aziz Hamad, Acting Deputy Chief of the General Fire Force for Civil Protection. The force said the inspections formed part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen fire prevention, enforce safety regulations and improve compliance across commercial and industrial establishments.
